sur-facing II | cie.nomoreless

The site-specific dance performance sur-facing II by cie.nomoreless explores—drawing on the multifaceted dynamics of Ebertplatz—the interplay and tension between visibility and invisibility, rapprochement and polarization, and art and everyday life. The ensemble of more than twenty performers—with and without disabilities, of varying ages and levels of dance experience—engages directly with the flow of movement, the social environment, and the architecture of Ebertplatz, developing a choreographic structure that moves between dance intervention and urban life.

sur-facing II deliberately opens itself up to the urban space: Passersby become part of the situations, and the boundaries between audience and art blur—the spectators become co-creators of the moment. New forms of coexistence are explored, routines are disrupted, and artistic processes are made visible.

Sweet Dance | Catalina Carrasco (BAAL)

Sweet Dance | Catalina Carrasco (BAAL)

This workshop creates an intergenerational space for connection where the body becomes a place for play, exploration, and expression. The session begins with a guided session (approx. 60 minutes) in which movement is explored as a form of drawing in space through contemporary dance, dance theater, and improvisation.

Using simple materials—paper, brushes, sticks, or everyday objects—participants explore line, form, and the transformation of the body, developing moving images and small compositions from these elements. The object acts as a mediator, facilitating access to movement and opening up new possibilities for expression.

This is followed by an informal opportunity for discussion during a break. The event concludes with a brief performative segment: a short presentation, an artistic intervention, or an open-format activity in which the audience can participate. The focus is on shared experiences, creativity, and connection.

Chamäleon | Ido Grinberg

Chamäleon | Ido Grinberg

Chamäleon is a dance-theatre solo piece for everyone aged 8 and over, that explores the relation between the body and its natural and technological environment. The piece tells the story of a chameleon who can’t camouflage himself like all other chameleons around him, and as a result he decides to find a place, where he could fit in. Along the way he meets other creatures who guide him and give him advices, who help him find out whether he wants to fit in or rather stand out, and be special.

With Choreography, video and sound the performer is going to tell a story of courage and resilience, of what it means to be different.
