A bearded nun performing miracles? The surviving videos from prehistoric times seem irrefutable. Sister Mary Wendy and the Order of Brah Brah are confident that a lasting solution to global crises and conflicts is not far off, and are already recruiting new members. Who wouldn’t want to join them?
The Miracle uses contemporary, physical and wildly exuberant clown storytelling that complicates genre and gender boundaries while charmingly inviting the audience to expand their own freedom. Absurd, surprising, playful and fun, the show embarks on a search for myth-enshrouded, queer-feminist ancestors from a not-so-distant past, whose knowledge of the miraculous power of ambiguity and humor wants to be rediscovered! As Sister Mary Wendy, Olivia Platzer draws on a rich canon full of wild women and genderqueer pioneers— from Baubo, who reveals her vulva to the depressed goddess Demeter to cheer her up and thus end a global famine, to the popular saint Wilgefortis, who as a crucified virgin with a beard became the patron saint of women in distress. The Miracle tells of a community in which non-conformity, not conformity, is sacred.
Combining physical theater, humor and English text, The Miracle is equally suitable for audiences with different language skills.
The escalation of various acute global crises seems to be increasingly condensing into a collective state of fear and shaping human behaviour in the process. fear:less explores the social conditions of fear and questions the role of the body within this context.
How much uncertainty can a body endure?
Does touch become a risk?
Are we losing our sense of connection to one another?
In a relentless and challenging pas de deux, dancers Dmitrijus Andrušanecas and Hanna Held seek an intense physical connection with each other. They surrender themselves to the other, challenge their counterpart, and resolutely explore what it means to be fear:less.
“With beguiling clarity, Silke Z. proves that the appearance of analog bodies can constitute an event”
– Thomas Linden, Kölnische Rundschau (November 6, 2025, translated by ehrenfeldstudios)
MOMENTOLOGY explores the moment between the lines.
Caroline Simon moves between humor and poetry, between the expected and the surprising, between body and language, between the certain and the maybe. She creates the performance live in front of the audience.
The starting point for this dance performance is the dancer’s imagination, the mood of the room, the present moment. The audience witnesses the creation, the search, and the unfolding of the dance performance. The theme is not predetermined, but crystallizes, deepens, and develops associatively over the course of the performance.
For whom are cowboys actually still sexy? In the night we have become REAL men. Or heroes? We cry under the beer table and one thing is for sure: the fries in the swimming pool are fattier than my bum. Someone had to win the mating dance. And lose the antler fight. Sure, the two of us can be a band.
Die Nacht in der wir Männer wurden is an entertaining evening of physical theater with a night-life vibe, drag and original live music that explores positive forms of modern masculinity. From a non-binary and trans*-masculine perspective, the (i)dentityteam questions what masculinity actually is and how we want to be masculine. The artists use a wide range of artistic elements such as movement, choreography, music, stand-up comedy, acting and, of course, drag! You can expect a humorous, artistic and raw deep dive into the open-air pool of identity formation, puberty, coming-outs and transition. There are songs about feelings and male roles in relationships; there are cowboys, swimwear and courtship dances; and above all, there is one important question: Is this masculine now?

Our culture and heritage are (partly) inscribed in our bodies, our cells, and our habits. How do culture, origin, and social spaces shape our movements, postures, and inner structures? The Cultural Moves workshop invites participants to consciously perceive culturally imprinted movement patterns and forms of expression and to experience them. Through physical exploration, observation, and lots of exchange, we examine how individual and collective stories manifest themselves in the body. Joint improvisations and small group compositions create spaces for dialogue, resonance, and new perspectives. The workshop is aimed at anyone interested in the body, movement, culture, and encounter – no prior knowledge is required.
