The student production WE | PRIMETIME is being created as part of the education program under the artistic direction of Silke Z. resistdance and her education team of dancers from the ensemble »die metabolisten«. WE | PRIMETIME will be created with around 16 pupils from the partner schools (Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium, Kaiserin-Theophanu-Schule, Städtisches Gymnasium Kreuzgasse) in two weekend workshops.
The public presentation of the dance production will take place on 28 January at 7 pm in the ehrenfeldstudios. Admission free!
The educational programme TanzVermittlung THE EMPATHIC BODY is centrally based on the transfer of choreographic methods on the topics of empathy (2020-2023), distance (2021), imitation (2022) and manipulation (2023), which will be taught in workshops and training courses to pupils and teachers in schools in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia and Munich. The education programme accompanies the stage productions by Silke Z. and the ensemble die metabolisten.

We explore MOVEMENT and BODY in AGE(ING) through dance – physically, playfully and always in exchange with each other. What do I gain through age(ing)? We will EXPLORE this and more together. The lab is led by choreographer Silke Z. and dancer Caroline Simon.
For EVERYONE with or without previous experience. For EVERYONE with or without physical specialties. For ALL !
Monday to Friday: 10 am – 3 pm
Saturday: 6 pm public presentation (in consultation with all participants)

Celebrate Varieté Night with us at the end of the year! The open stage, hosted by Olivia Platzer and Bryce Kasson (clown duo Fort Willy), presents finished acts, half-baked ideas, fragile improvisations and sketches from the fields of clowning, dance, circus, music, literature and performance. A daring mixture of bizarre, funny and unusual contributions. There will also be festive snacks and drinks.

Making snowflakes in the gig economy is hard work: the pressure to design the best models and keep productivity at maximum capacity, all the while delivering the best customer service. Something, or someone, is bound to break.
In this tale of teamwork and secret competition, dismal disappointments and dancing dreams, veteran snowflake-maker Forti and newbie Willi will give their all to try and make the cut.
