How do two generations connect through their art? Johanna immerses herself physically in the memories woven into the woolen fabrics of Regina’s rugs. Through contemporary dance and Masurian peasant and wedding rugs, a female perspective on history comes to life, inviting the audience to participate in shaping the experience. Amid the rhythmic sound of the spinning wheel, the traditional art of weaving, and its materials and symbols, a window opens onto the cultural memory of another generation. The Masurian tradition, which is slowly changing and seems almost lost, finds its place in the present.
