THE AGEING BODY Generation +
Ageing affects everyone – throughout their entire lives. Age(ing) is a social issue that is often fraught with stereotypical notions – even in dance artistry, which reflects society’s ideal of youthfulness and performance.
THE AGEING BODY is a versatile dance format for the Generation +. In laboratories and workshops lasting several days, we use dance to explore questions such as
- How does ageing affect us?
- How do we want to move in old age?
- How can we shape the ageing process ourselves?
The AGEING BODY labs usually last 3-10 days and are scheduled for 4-6 hours a day. The labs are led by choreographer Silke Z. and dancer Caroline Simon.
